The Krellinator is alive!
For awhile now I have been thinking about how I should expand my semi-modular setup (Moog Mavis, Make Noise 0-CTRL, Empress ZOIA). Part of me wanted to explore more semi-modular options such as the Make Noise 0-Coast and the Erica Pico System, but another part of me wanted to go head-strong into a eurorack modular workflow. Well long story short: some good online deals and almost four months of waiting have brought the Krellinator to life!
As a jazz bassist primarily, I have found it very refreshing to seek out totally different ways of creating and performing music. Additionally, I have learned so much from approaching music differently than I normally would have. I find this new direction very exciting: taking what I'm inspired by from musicians such as Sarah Belle Reid, Ben Frost, Hainbach, Todd Barton, Stazma, and many others, and getting to apply it to a physical interface is something I'm going to have fun with for quite a while.
I'm not sure where the journey with this is headed, but I am eager to explore the unknown!
