Inspired by Ian Martin Allison's synth-esque pedal chain, and with a musical gig coming up calling for some of these sounds, I decided to finally build a pedalboard patch! Alongside my Boss OC-3 Super Octave, I have drive, envelope filter, and chorus in the ZOIA, all switchable in performance mode. While adding the drive, I found that sometimes the low end from the octave messes things up in an undesirable way. So, with the help of a high-pass filter running into the drive as well as a parallel unaffected low-pass filter filling in the clean low-end, it solved the issue quite nicely.
