This one is straight up cyberpunk mega-city dystopia! This was heavily inspired by some of my favorite movies in my favorite genre: sci-fi. Which films does it remind you of?
Helping out my Moog Mavis this time is the Make Noise 0-CTRL! Providing new sequence and performance opportunities, it allows me to get even more dynamic with the sounds I am patching. I am using both sides of the 0-CTRL in this track: the sequence that supplies the bass and ostinato, and the pressure sensitive touch pads that supply the modulation of the noise (utilizing a new-to-me technique: cross modulation!).
The soft and soaring melody is in 9-tone equal temperament, thanks to the keyboard scale knob on the Mavis!
