A Darkling Beetle (Strongylium hemistriatum) crawls across the terrazzo floor at the visitor center at Attwater Prairie Chicken National Wildlife Refuge, in Colorado County, TX, USA. Although all six legs seem to be functional, the Beetle moves as if using mostly its front legs to drag itself across the smooth floor.
