Soaking boys is a ,,stress-DoT" team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Man at arms (stun resist trinket + accuracy trinket) - stress dealer
2nd: Abomination (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
3rd: Houndmaster (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
4th: Occultist (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
PROS:
1) Mark synergy (Occultist + Houndmaster)
2) Porcupine
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) Great healing potential
6) 2 guardians
7) 2 disruptors
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Marks are a menace
4) Disruption is a menace
5) RNGsus is a menace
Soaking boys is weird stress team with great of DoT and pure damage. You have a mark synergy, 3 (self)healers, 2 riposters, 2 guardians and 2 disruptors. Unfortunately this team is weak against mark and stress teams.
I played a few strategies, like "original setup", "full stress", "the finishers" and "mark team". I tried both variantions of Man at arms (damager / stresser), the stress variantion is better choice. And also Abomination (melee beast / DoT puker), in this case the melee beast is optimal choice.
My advice: Start with Abomination for disruption, next use Man at arms for guarding someone / buffing the team, then Occultist for applying DoT and lastly Houndmaster for applying DoT.
When RNGsus chose me this team, I was like, "Wait, didn't I already play that?!" and yes, in previous showcase video I played a similiar "Kalashnikov's stress team", but now the Houndmaster is in good position. And RNGsus was too pleasant, he stand on my side most of time. I refused to use "porcupine" strategy, because of previous expierences - it's worthless. But there were several defeats, one against darkest player with LAME based team and one against apprentice player with DoT team. Honestly, I'm glad that I got only these novices, because YOU DON'T HAVE A CHANCE against harder opponents (veteran-darkest).
This time I'm giving them a little bit higher rate, because of score and RNGsus. But still, it's a trash comp.
