Leper and friends is a ,,damage-stress“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Bounty hunter (Grappling Mits + damage trinket) - deathblow dealer
2nd: Arbalest (Exotic snuff + damage trinket) - damage dealer
3rd: Leper (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
4th: Musketeer (healing trinket + damage trinket) - damage dealer
PROS:
1) Mark synergy (Bounty hunter + Arbalest / Musketeer)
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great healing potential
5) 4 disruptors
6) 3 deathblowers
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) DoT is a menace
3) Disruption is a menace
Leper and friends is an odd damage team, that combines also stress and little bit of DoT. All characters can make disruption on opponent’s team, next you have 3 deathblowers (if we count Arbalest’s „Sniper shot“ and Musketeer’s „Aimed shot“ on marked character), 3 (self)healers and a mark synergy. Unfortunately this team is vulnerable against stress and DoT teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „the finishers“, „double finisher“, „original setup“ and „mix damage + stress“. Probably the „mix damage + stress“ is the best option for playing.
My advice: Depends on, who you will face. If you’ll face a mark team, start with Bounty hunter OR Arbalest for disruption. If you’ll face stress/DoT team, start with Leper for buffing himself, then proceed with Arbalest for disruption. Last character should be Musketeer for dealing massive damage or healing other companions.
Well… this team. Suprise for me, I lost only once, while trying “original setup” against darkest player with DoT-dodge team [Supa stress V2], even with buffs I couldn’t hit anything. In showed matches you can see, how the team should be played, but it’s not mandatory. I really wished and tried to show true potential, unfortunately the opponents rather surrendered instead of playing till the end. This is the reason, why I cannot give them a high rate, even with nice score.
While playing I saw a few disadvantages, for example pushing Musketeer to the frontline or Arbalest is an easy target for stunning/marking. But even with lost characters you can still win the match. Playing was kinda… fun.
