↼ ↼ Mood of the Song ⇁ ⇁
Inspired by the dark dystopian feel of the Mi-Go in the science fiction story by H.P. Lovecraft. Though the general vibe of the Mi-Go isn't post apocalyptic, I couldn't help but incorporate some of those elements into this piece of creepy music inspired by them. The combination of mystery surrounding this creatures and the narrator slowly learning of them and their infiltration in society inspired this particular track, where actually seeing them work in their dungeons was the inspiration for the other Mi-Go track I've written here: youtube.com/watch?v=zfYMdENGwsM
For this piece of cinematic music I've made several ambient sound design elements based on recordings of crabs, critters and bugs. Though they don't seem to be bugs, I can't help but associate tuned down and ramped up versions of bug sounds as the kind of sounds they'd make. Besides this I've used electronic sounds like those from a router to recreate sci-fi futuristic sounds of them.
Perfect for any situation in which you need creepy music with a dystopia or cyberpunk atmosphere.
