A visiting loco to the layout, & the latest one to join my mates loco fleet. Dapol's Limited Edition Class 52 Western. D1062 Western Courier. This is model number 72 out of a run of only 150.
Seen here running in on the layouts dual powered DC / DCC test track. The loco is still to have a DCC decoder fitted, so running on DC.
Loco features many fine detail parts, sprung buffers, working lights, DCC ready, etc.
Having finally getting chance to compare this Dapol version along side my own Heljan wizzo. Certainly very impressive detail & body shape profile on the Dapol. So hope to add one to my own model fleet in the near future.
