In this on going series we take a look at adding some scenic scatter materials, to create a landscaped trackside scene. In the first part you'll see the ongoing work on the winter section, as we get closer to adding the snow material ( we'll be taking a look at adding the snow very shortly!!).
The second part of this video take a look at adding the fine earth scatter material, to the painted up land form. Using Woodland Scenics Scenic Cement to fix & hold the fine earth scatter in place.
In the 3rd part of this video, you'll see coarse grass turf & fine ballast (for the track) that's been added to the scene. This has been applied & fixed to the layout, in the same way as the fine earth scatter.
In the next video of this series we'll look at adding some static grass, as well as various other items such as bushes, trees etc.
