In this ongoing series, we take a look at one of Finsbury Park's racehorses 55007 Pinza. This model is a weathered addition, & i've had it fitted with DCC sound through the DPS (Deltic Preservation Society) thedps.co.uk sales stand.
The sound is by Legomanbiffo, & in my opinion seems to be the best Deltic DCC sound to date. The model has all the other usual Bachmann features, central can motor with twin flywheels driving both bogies, all wheel power pick ups, die-cast chassis, sprung buffers, flush glazing, etched brass grills & separate non powered roof fans, working head tail & cab lights, separate hand rails.
Other features are 21 pin DCC socket, NEM pocket small type tension lock couplings, cab interiors plus driver figure (Bachmann have fitted the driver in the wrong seat!!) to which i've added a second crew member in the cab. Also the model comes with a bag of bufferbeam detail parts for fitting by the modeller.
