In this video we see one of the more well known members of my fleet in action (Stobart class 66), along side one of the more newer members of the fleet (Malcolm class 08). However, the Stobart class 66 has a wee upgrade. This being finally fitted out with DCC Sound.
The Sound decoder fitted is a Zimo 21 pin, with a sugar cube speaker. This sound decoder & speaker is by Digitrains, in which i fitted my self. Decoder is a straight forward plug in, & the speaker is two wires soldered on to the speaker tabs (clearly marked) on the PCB board.
The Malcolm class 08 has a TCS direct 8 pin plug in decoder (pins on the underside of the decoder) model TCS DP2X-UK. One of the flattest min space type decoders on the market.
Also seen is a Lima class 67 with my Scotrail sleeper (Fort Bill portion). This has a Gaugemaster decoder hard wired in, & a lighting upgrade. The lighting kit is by Express Models.
