After finally finishing my sauna build, I hit one last unexpected challenge—the door was about 1/8” too wide. After all the time and effort that went into building it, making that final cut definitely raised the stakes.

My solution was to raise the table saw blade about 2½ inches, adjust the fence, and rip 1/8” off the hinge side. Then I used a flush trim router bit to clean up the remaining section. Thankfully, it worked out great, and the door fits perfectly.

Since sharing the process on Instagram, I’ve received several other suggestions for how people would have tackled it.
