A clip of 18 gauge brad nails makes the perfect spacer for wooden drawer slides. Just drop a sleeve of nails on each side of the rail, set your runner in place, and lock it in with the second rail on top.
Top it off with a little candle wax and you’re set for decades of smooth sliding. No fancy hardware needed. Old-school and effective!
