🚨 A dangerous ex-con just six weeks out of prison thought he could outrun Florida Highway Patrol in a black Mercedes GLC 300. He was wrong! The chase ended with a PIT maneuver and a crazy rollover on Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.

The driver, 20-year-old Dorshawn Tate Jr., had served time for a brutal 2022 Coral Springs home invasion where masked men with AK-47-style rifles stabbed and beat the victim before stealing luxury items. DNA evidence tied Tate to that crime — and yet he was back on the streets, back behind the wheel, and back to putting lives in danger.
Three firearms were recovered from the SUV. At least one was tossed from the car during the pursuit. Also arrested: 24-year-old Sherod Thomas Morley of Fort Lauderdale, along with two other suspects not yet identified.
