Florida Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Jonathan Adrian Reyes took off in his silver Toyota Corolla after troopers tried stopping him for illegal window tint on I-4. What started as a simple traffic stop escalated fast — Reyes hit over 90 MPH in heavy traffic, ignored multiple red lights, and drove the wrong way on Aloma Ave for more than half a mile.
When the chase ended, Reyes bailed from the car and tried to run — but FHP tracked him down near an apartment complex pool. Inside his vehicle?
Two loaded Glock handguns
Over 446 grams of marijuana
2.91 grams of crack cocaine
9.45 grams of an unknown blue rock
Hundreds of dryer sheets (likely used to mask drug odor)
A forged Illinois ID with the name “Andrew Law”
Reyes now faces 12 charges including fleeing with disregard for safety, possession with intent to distribute, carrying a weapon during a felony, forged ID, and driving with a suspended license.
