🚨 What started as a suspicious person call near an Ulta store in Lufkin, Texas quickly turned into one of the wildest patrol vehicle theft chases you’ll ever see. After being detained by officers, the suspect allegedly slipped one of her handcuffs, climbed through the partition window of a marked police Tahoe, and stole the patrol SUV right in front of officers. What followed was a dangerous multi-agency pursuit reaching speeds over 90 MPH across East Texas.
During the chase, officers say the suspect avoided spike strips by driving through a yard, nearly caused head-on collisions, and even attempted to access the shotgun mounted inside the stolen police vehicle while still wearing one handcuff. The pursuit finally came to an end after a Texas DPS trooper performed a successful PIT maneuver, sending the stolen Tahoe crashing off the roadway.
