Icom IC-705 ham radio transceiver has got an undocumented feature related to its ability operate the RTTY (Radio Teletype) mode! This video deals with this “secret” and reveals how is it possible to run RTTY on Icom IC-705 without connected to the computer, not only for receive or transmit from the pre-recorded memory banks, but also for sending live “on-the -spot” text using the CW paddle and the “Winkeyer USB” device by the K1EL Ham Radio Kits.( I have no affiliation with this company, I just have bought their product for my personal use).
