A beloved East Haddam coffee shop is getting the documentary treatment. Local filmmaker Tavin Noack-Krauland joins Abbey in Studio to share the inspiration behind “Cats Who Love Coffee,” an upcoming short documentary about Two Wrasslin’ Cats Coffee House and its owner, Mark Theed.
Noack-Krauland talks about growing up in East Haddam, spending time studying at the cafe and wanting to spotlight a business owner who gives back to his community. He also shares the work behind the approximately 35-minute film, including interviews, editing and collaboration with animation students in Strasbourg, France.
