In this the third video in 'Its a Rubbish Challenge' I use the heel strap from my old pair of Crocs that had fallen off to make a perfect soft carrying handle on a ukulele case that I made from curved birch ply.

Super simple, just drilled a coupled of holes through the case and through a ply pattress on the inside that adds support to the thin ply case.

To help make the fixing stronger I drilled the holes so that the thread of the bolts bit into the ply

I bolted the strap on with a couple of stainless steel bolts with washers to the Crocs heel strap and nuts to the inside.

I finished the case that I call a 'Uke Suit' with a sprayed flower pattern and gave it to my daughter for Christmas.
