In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet beaver applique.

For this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool, I used brown 4 ply crochet cotton. A crochet hook, I used a 1.5mm hook. Scissors. Darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the beaver together. Black thread to embroider on eyes, nose and markings.
The finished size will be 15cm x 8cm (6” x 3”) for the larger beaver, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The medium beaver will be 10cm x 5.5cm (4” x 2.25”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small beaver will be 7.5cm x 4.5cm (3” x 1.75”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
