In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet galah applique.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (519) Fresia, (074) Mercury, (238) Powder Pink and (242) Metal Gray. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. A pair of scissors. Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the galah together. Black thread or a black bead for the eye.
The finished size will be 18.5cm wide x 20cm high (7.25” wide x 8” high) for the larger galah, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the galah in Catona will be 16cm wide x 16cm high (6.25” wide x 6.25” high). The medium galah will be 11cm wide x 13cm high (4.25” wide x 5” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small galah will be 8cm wide x 9cm high (3” wide x 3.5” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
