The Creality Falcon A1 laser engraver strikes an impressive balance between ease of use, safety, and powerful performance, making it a top contender for both beginners and seasoned makers.
At the heart of the Falcon A1 is a 10W laser module that delivers fast and precise engraving and cutting using the core-XY motion system. It handles materials like wood, leather, acrylic, cardboard, fabric, and can color stainless steel.
Beginner users benefit from the overall user friendly Creality Falcon Design Space software. It is similar enough to Lightburn that migrating is easy and straightforward. Some features like the camera calibration will need more work but updates seem to be regular and plenty.
The Falcon A1 is also equipped with several intelligent safety features that set it apart in its category. These include an on board camera, an automatic stop function if the doors are opened. For users working in shared or home environments, these safety enhancements provide peace of mind without requiring additional third-party modifications.
Build quality is good with the all-metal frame. The enclosure is great for laser safety and smoke and fume control.
