In this video I will show you how to install an all metal hotend kit on the Creality CR-10 Smart 3D printer. Currently, there are not too many options listed online specifically for this application... however... the Creality CR6-SE printer is very similar in many ways and the MicroSwiss all metal hotend for the CR6-SE can be very easily made to fit the CR-10 Smart.

Other than the MicroSwiss all metal kit, the only other parts you will need are:
► (QTY:2) M3x10mm socket head cap screw
► (QTY:2) M3x15mm socket head cap screw
► 3D printed fan adapter that can be found here:
► prusaprinters.org/prints/121997-creality-cr-10-smart-fan-adapter-for-microswiss-cr
Note that this is the fan adapter that I designed. The one listed on the MicroSwiss website does not seem to fit properly. It is too deep and the extruder fan will interfere with the hot end fan shroud cover when you try to install it.

The entire installation is otherwise very typical of a MicroSwiss all metal hotend installation that you would do on any other 3D printer.
NOTE: One thing I just realized that I forgot to mention in this video is that it would be a good idea to run a PID autotune on your machine with the new hotend. On the CR-10 Smart I think this option is available on the touchscreen with the latest firmware... I'm still running the old firmware and so I was able to do this through the gcode terminal in Octoprint. To connect your CR-10 Smart printer to Octoprint, follow this video here:
