Here's that Crash related stuff I was talking about. I'm a little late to the party with this one, as I was in the middle of FFVII challenges when it came out and I wanted to finish those first. It's a fan made Crash Bandicoot game that so far includes 10 traditional levels, 10 Flashback Tape levels and 5 "Trials of Uka-Uka", whatever those are. I have not looked at any other footage of this game, so everything will be new to me as I progress. This is the most recent version - 0.93.
This is the first level, and it's a simple and easy one that looks like it's straight out of Crash Bandicoot 2, so the title is very fitting. Apparently, there will be new enemies and crates along the way. It's nice to get an easy start, so that I can get used to the controls. It's been a while since I played a Crash game now. The only thing I haven't figured out so far is how to save.

Not much to see here. Since I can get healed by the poison attack and its always used before regular attacks, this is pretty much an automatic win and probably the easiest battle in the challenge. Using Hellmasker was a complete waste of time.

This is pretty much an auto-win. Tifa is the main damage dealer and he wont Grand Spark her. I usually show the whole Rocket Town raid, but theres really no point this time.

Two strategies. In the first one, I unleash the most powerful multi target limit breaks to get rid of the bats. Hyper Jump has the ability to inflict death, but the chance isnt very high, so getting two is lucky. Even though it looks and sounds like it, Icicle Drop is not ice elemental. In the second battle you get to see how powerful Vincent can be in this challenge, and this is only with a magic stat of 83. The Icicle is weak to fire, but still.
