It is highly unlikely early Christians borrowed major ideas from pagan religions because the first Christians were deeply devoted Jews who took their religious laws and purity practices extremely seriously.
If these believers were intensely concerned about preserving Jewish law and avoiding religious contamination, it would be implausible for them to adopt core beliefs from pagan religions. For example, Pontius Pilate bringing Roman military standards bearing the image of Emperor Tiberius into Jerusalem. Many Jews considered this a defilement of their holy city and protested so strongly that they were willing to die rather than accept it.
The religious mindset of first-century Jews makes large-scale borrowing from pagan mythology seem historically unlikely.
