Belief in the resurrection has practical ethical implications. If the resurrection is true, Christians should actively serve others, work faithfully, and give generously to help those in need.
We see examples of Christians who endured imprisonment and persecution for smuggling Bibles. These individuals are portrayed as courageous because they remained committed to their faith despite the risk of arrest, suffering, or imprisonment. Their confidence came from believing that their lives belonged to God and that any hardship they faced could serve a greater purpose. They viewed persecution, suffering, and even death through the lens of eternal hope, believing that such trials could not ultimately defeat them.
Certainty in the truth of Christianity and particularly the resurrection, provides strength and assurance when facing persecution or hardship.
