In this lecture, I present the historical evidence for the resurrection of Jesus and show how it can be shared in a simple, memorable way so simple you can draw it on a napkin.
Many people assume the resurrection is something Christians believe only by faith. But the earliest historical evidence gives us several important facts that are widely recognized by scholars across a broad spectrum of beliefs: Jesus died by crucifixion, his followers sincerely believed they had seen him alive afterward, the message of his resurrection was proclaimed very early, and skeptics such as Paul and James were transformed.
This lecture walks through that evidence and explains why the resurrection remains the best explanation of the historical data. It also shows how Christians can communicate the case clearly, graciously, and effectively in everyday conversations.
