Corned Beef Brisket and Cabbage

Jey came over to grab some food. This meal was done in less than 2 hours using the microwave pressure cooker.

Approx 2 to 2.5 pound corned beef brisket
1 head cabbage, cut in large chunks
Water
You can add potatoes, onions, and carrots if you wish.

Place the corned beef brisket with the brine in the pressure cooker. Sprinkle the included seasoning packet on top of the meat and cover with water. Do not pass the max fill line.

Cover and cook for 30 minutes. Allow to depressurize. Flip the meat over and add a little more water if needed. Again, do not pass the max fill line. Cover and cook for 15-30 more minutes. Allow to depressurize.

Remove meat, slice, and set aside. Place the cut cabbage in the pressure cooker with the soup. If you are adding potatoes and carrots, you would add it now. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes. Cook time will depend on the amount of vegetables and the size that they are cut.

Allow to depressurize. Done!

**Cook times will vary based on microwave wattage. I use a 1,100 watt microwave.**
