The extremely glamourous CONNIE BRITTON sits for an interview to discuss her time on American Horror Story, The White Lotus, Nashville, Friday Night Lights, and her new film HERE AFTER.
HERE AFTER follows Claire (Britton), a mother and teacher living in Italy with her daughter, Robin (Freya Hannan-Mills). When Robin is involved in a fatal accident, Claire is overjoyed when Robin is miraculously revived. However, her relief soon turns to dread as she starts to suspect that something dark has followed Robin back from the brink of death.
The film is yet another notch in the horror/thriller belt for Britton, who famously starred in the groundbreaking season of AHS, as well as the Nightmare on Elm street remake. Britton discusses what she finds interesting about horror projects, and how they help us deal with trauma.
BRITTON is of course also known for her success in all kinds of projects, like the drama Friday Night Lights, the musical drama Nashville, the other groundbreaking premiere season she did of HBO's The White Lotus, as well as her turns in comedy with Spin City, and This Is Where I Leave You.
During the #interview, Britton discusses the subtext of horror, what scares her when she's choosing a project, and out of all the terrifying things she's done, what's been the scariest.
