Marine Biologist, Lawrence Scheele, 26, captured this bizarre and alien like conch showing off its eyes and mouth in this rare close up encounter at Magnetic Island, Great Barrier Reef, Australia. Lawrence captured the closeup footage of this strawberry conch in his first encounter with these rarely seen creatures as it shows off its eyes and mouth in a very alien like display whilst grazing on turf algae. Lawrence said, “I had never seen a Strawberry Conch before this.“It is very uncommon for people to see a closeup of a conch’s eyes and mouth. They are just fascinating animals. “I felt like I was watching a goofy alien! They are just adorable. “People are really surprised to find out what they actual look like. Most people only see empty conch shells washed up on the beach.”
