The infamous Captain Beany has decided to finally shut his beloved bean museum doors and flog his collection of baked beans in fears of becoming a 'has bean'. The captain has dedicated his life to playing the role of Captain Beany, and after collecting memorabilia for over the last decade, he has decided to finally close the doors for good and sell the museum. Captain Beany, 67, from Port Talbot, Wales, has spent over £10,000 collecting all sorts of baked bean memorabilia for the last thirteen years, creating his treasured baked bean related museum. However, he will now be focussing on his new ventures, such as writing an autobiography of his life as Captain Beany.
