This amazing video shows this selfless Ukrainian soldier comforting a cat and it's kittens after helping the mother give birth. Aleksey Merzhev, a Ukrainian soldier from Dnipro, Ukraine captured this video on the Eastern Front where this cat had lived with Aleksey and the other soldiers and even went on duty with them. Aleksey said: There was a big shelling of our positions, I took the cat into my dugout, then went out, and when I returned, she was lying in my sleeping bag and began to give birth. We prepared a warm place for her in the dugout with our warm clothes. "The first time, due to heavy shelling, it was not possible to take her with the kittens out to a safer place, we plan to distribute kittens to friends."
