This earie footage shows two sisters visiting their childhood home before and after the war in Ukraine, where there once beautiful home was left decimated and roofless. Elina Khludieva, captured these harrowing pictures and images with her younger sister, Vladyslava Khludieieva, 16, who are both originally from Kharkiv, Ukraine, and now live in Germany. Vladyslava said: "When I returned to Kharkiv after 10 months of the war and saw the destroyed house for the first time, I could not believe my eyes, it seemed to me that this was just a picture. "I stood in front of the house in which I grew up and did not understand how it could not have a roof. When I went inside and saw nothing, my heart was empty. "Where until recently there were cosy sofas, curtains sewn by my mother, her embroideries, our childhood photographs - only ashes and debris lie. "Our house, which my parents created with such diligence 10 years ago, in which we spent our best years, where we grew up in love and unity with nature and our beloved pets, everything collapsed in an instant with one high-explosive shell on May 7, 2022, two days before my sisters birthday. "During these months of separation, our house has become dearer to me and the more it needs our loving caring hands now. The day will come and the house will gather us all under the roof."
