In this video I replace my leaking GM independent front suspension passenger side axle seal. This passenger side seal, on my 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 4x4, is particularly difficult in that apparently it is a requirement to remove the entire mid-shaft axle tube assembly. I thought it would be possible to remove just the mid-shaft with a slide hammer, and I still think it is entirely possible, but it seems there's a washer in there that would fall out of place and block the mid-shaft from re-installation.

I removed the entire passenger side axle tube and shaft assembly and further disassembled on the bench and replaced the seal. The job was a success and there are no leaks thus far.

The vehicle in this video is a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 4x4 which is the GMT800 platform.
