In this video I FINALLY fix the 2005 GMC Envoy's rough idle issue. As it turns out, this whole time I've been trying to fix a rough idle, it wasn't actually a rough idle. The problem was with the motor mounts which caused the natural engine vibration to feel very bad. The motor mounts got progressively worse overtime and therefore kept me thinking it had to do with the engine idle. It was so bad at times that I was certain it couldn't be something as 'simple' as the motor mounts. Well, that's where I went wrong. The problem was, in fact, the motor mounts. I swapped the old mounts for a brand new OEM set and as soon as the Envoy started I knew it was fixed. This Envoy drives like new again!
