Restaurants, workers and businesses across the region came together Monday at Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar in Moosic to support Loren, a Harvest employee recovering from serious injuries after a house fire in Shavertown at the start of the month that killed his brother and fellow Harvest employee, Steve.
The “One of Our Own, Gives Back Night: Honoring Steve and Supporting Loren” fundraiser featured guest bartenders, raffles, a 50/50, donated food and drinks, live music and an essentials drive. Proceeds were intended to help cover Loren’s medical expenses and support him as he rebuilds, while also helping the family with Steve’s funeral costs.
