A deadly house fire in Wilkes-Barre on Monday evening tragically claimed the life of an 11-year-old boy and hospitalized another woman as a result of the fire.
The Luzerne County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 11-year-old Nikoli Slivinski, with smoke inhalation being deemed the cause of death.
Wilkes-Barre firefighters responded to a house fire that broke out on the unit block of South Grant Street moments after it began on Monday evening.
