The 2026 midterm elections are only a few months away, and the showdown between incumbent Congressman Rob Bresnahan and Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti for Pennsylvania’s 8th District is heating up. On Wednesday, Congressman Bresnahan brought in the cavalry.

At the Common Sense vs Crazy campaign event, Congressman Bresnahan was joined by local law enforcement officials, Congressman Dan Mueser, Idaho Congressman Russ Fulcher, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson. Their message: Keep PA’s 8th district red.
