Center for Nutrition Studies (CNS) President Dr. LeAnne Campbell and CNS Grant Coordinator Natasha Lantz discuss the projects of Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate graduates and grant recipients Lianna Levine Reisner, Director of Plant Powered Metro New York and Varun Ponmudi, founder of Aaya's Table.

Lianna Levine Reisner has a Masters degree in organization development and is the Network Director and President of Plant Powered Metro New York. Her passion is for community change, network organization, and positive psychology, and she is building an ecosystem of collaboration for the WFPB movement across the New York metro area.

Varun Ponmudi holds a Masters of Engineering in biomedical engineering and Bachelors in biology from Cornell University. He began his career in product development at medical device companies, including Globus Medical and Stryker, before catching the entrepreneurial bug and deciding to follow his passion for improving health with plant-based foods. He founded Aaya’s Table in 2019 to provide a convenient and effective way for clinicians to recommend lifestyle change for their patients. He is also a Brand Ambassador for Beyond Meat. Varun and his fiancé, Veronika, live in Philadelphia, where they enjoy running and hiking the Schuylkill River trails. Learn more about Aaya’s Table and Verun Ponmudi:
