Common Snapping Turtle VS Alligator Snapping turtle.... this has been our most suggested vs video to date, and today, WE'RE DOING IT! WOOHOO!
On today's adventure, we're gonna be taking a look at the two most recognizable snapping turtle species found throughout the USA: the Common snapping turtle, and the Alliagator snapping turtle! These two modern day dinosaurs grow to be the biggest, toughest turtles around, and we're gonna take a look at not only how they are differentt, but take a look at the bites of these two turtles!

Common snapping turtles, as their name suggests, are the more common of the two turtle species, and are found throughout North Central, and parts of South America. The alligator snapping turtle has a much smaller range, being in very specific parts of southeast US, and only lives in rivers and bayous, rather than any body of water like the common. These turtles grow to be abnormally large for turtles, with commons maxing around 50lbs-60lbs, and alligator snapping turtles reaching upwards of 200lbs! It's no suprise that the alligator snapping turtle is the rarer, more powerful of the two turtles, however this video is to help show the differences between these two species, and give a demonstration of their bites.
