"Come Go With Me", by American doo-wop vocal group The Del-Vikings, was originally recorded in a hotel room in 1956 and released by Fee Bee Records label. The same recording was re-released in 1957 with Dot Records and became the group's highest charting song peaking at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart selling over one million copies, and earned a gold disc award. The Del-Vikings were five airmen who came together at an NCO Service Club in Pittsburgh. They recorded several hit singles in the 1950's, and continued to record and tour with various lineups in later decades. The group was noted for being one of the few racially integrated musical groups to attain success back then. "Come Go With Me" currently sits at #449 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, and has been featured in the films American Graffiti, Diner, Stand by Me, and Joe Versus the Volcano.
