Despite snow on the ground along north facing hillsides, the Colorado Front Range has seen Red Flag Warnings issued for low humidity, gusty winds and dry fuels. SMFR Firefighters recently assisted our Douglas County neighbors at Larkspur Fire Rescue with a 150 acre vegetation fire in their district. In this vlog we take viewers to a unique event where Hazmat Teams from across the Denver area gathered for training and showcased their equipment, and to Centennial Airport for ARFF apparatus acceleration testing on the runway. We share the first images of Tiller 34 being built, introduce our new PIO Makenzie, and share patch shout outs!
