This video shows acid cleaning of the pipes / tubings in your Nespresso espresso machine by Nestle. Household acetic kitchen acid is used at 12 % concentration and 24 % concentration with excellent results, and the inside if of the tubings are verified as clean inside after three runs of acid. The effective work time is less than 30 minutes to carry out the entire cleaning, but with waiting time for dissolution dissolving the oxide and deposits inside the tubings it will take you 2.5 hours. The acid is a weak non harmful acid but it stinks and irritates your eyes.
