The hard wax oil used was OSMO reference number 3062, a matt or silk matt finish. The hard wax oil was applied at a point when the original (natural) oils in the wood had been drained to an extent where the teak wood was dry and clearly had started to turn silver gray. The photo in the video one hour after the complete impregnation was taken two years before the video was made and snow had melted over the teak floor two times (winters).
