Aaaand we’re back in 2023! I figured it was about time I changed up my look to make way for the next album, and here we are with the first song kicking things off! Since making “Killed The Cat” and then “Peekaboom" I got really into taking common sayings and twisting them lyrically in interesting ways. Now I’m really excited to be releasing these next songs having written almost all the vocals/lyrics myself instead of using samples, and most of which I based on common phrases (foreshadowing next album title…). Scarlett was also the perfect vocalist to drive this one home. Hope y’all are as excited for this year as I am!

Beyond excited for this one and bringing you all my first lyric video! What I have noticed in producing is that sometimes there are songs that take a long time to complete, where you usually second guess yourself, scrap parts of it, try again, etc. And sometimes there are songs where all the pieces just seem to fit together (these usually turn out the best for me). This was definitely one of those fit together songs and I’m so happy with how it turned out and the direction it’s pushing me. Thanks again all for listening, and hope you like it!

This song is probably going to be a surprise to most people, but if you have been here for a while you know I like to mix things up from time to time. A little while back I went through a bit of an 80s/90s music phase and wanted to try my hand in creating something in the genre. I love mixing things up every once in a while like this by trying new genres, which always seems to help me incorporate more interesting things into my own style. Hope you all like how it turned out, I’ll be back to my usual style soon enough :)

It seemed time I threw a slightly more mellow song into the mix and this one does just that (until the last drop anyways, where things go a little crazy…). I’m loving trying to get this creepy vibe down at the moment and I hope you all like it!
