I based the story of this song on a particular Dungeons & Dragons session I played a few years ago with some friends, and tried to condense many of the twists and turns from that adventure into 3 minutes. Many of you will probably also be able to tell I used the instrumental from “Maestro” as the basis for this one, and so I hope this different story still does it justice.

Beyond excited for this one and bringing you all my first lyric video! What I have noticed in producing is that sometimes there are songs that take a long time to complete, where you usually second guess yourself, scrap parts of it, try again, etc. And sometimes there are songs where all the pieces just seem to fit together (these usually turn out the best for me). This was definitely one of those fit together songs and I’m so happy with how it turned out and the direction it’s pushing me. Thanks again all for listening, and hope you like it!
