This clock came from outside the States. I was told there are a bunch of these clock that they can't get running, but they still cuckoo. I was up for the challenge if they wanted to send the clock. They sent the clock and didn't want it back because of the cost for shipping and shipping took almost two months.
I think the main problem they might have been having was the pendulum had a Slip Clutch on it and they didn't know how to get them back to ticking again.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
