I have been finding clocks that I have not seen before made by the New England Clock. Notice I said New England Clock. These older clocks don't say the (Co.) at the end until the 1970's. So I wonder if that helps date the clock? Just the same, this is a nice, small nick nack shelve clock with a Tile Dial, Batter Movement that still works as well. Might have the hour hand pipe gear that needs a look at because it turns too free.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
