This is an early concept video from August 2015 for an outdoor AR project called Bern-AR that we created in After Effects. At the time, nobody knew how we could do this. The project initiator also approached the Munich-based company Metaio, which created the model shown here. Metaio turned down the project, most likely because the company was about to be chewed up by Apple. Metaio's AR technology later became ARKit at Apple. The video was made by our assistants Kaspar Schmid and Marc Wacker.
