This piece is an attempt to give a harmonic layering for a few popular Carnatic compositions. It is arranged for a string quartet with the melodies extracted from Chitta Swaras of popular Carnatic music pieces. There are 4 instruments playing this music - 2 Violins, Viola and Cello. The violin 1 is the lead, playing the Carnatic melodies while the other 3 instruments are playing the layered harmonies.
The chitta swara medley consists of the following krithis:

2.Mohanakalyani Thillana Ragam : Mohanakalyani. Talam : Adi
3.Naajevadhara Ragam : Bilahari. Talam : Adi
